I would rather have seen the Pats facing Brett Favre and the Packers, but once again Favre proved to be his own worst enemy. I was also really looking forward to a Manning-less Super Bowl, but alas, that is not to be. Still, the Pats have a chance to make history and set a record that may not be broken for decades. Let’s hope they bring their best game to Arizona.

On ESPN Radio the other day (prior to this weekend’s games) they were talking about how if it was a Pats-Packers Super Bowl, everybody except for Pats fans would root for Favre to go out on top and topple the “evil empire” in the process. I’d never realized just how out of touch they were until that point. They actually said the words “even Bears fans,” which I can tell you is completely untrue.
I think the Giants will give them a good game, thoguh. That week 17 matchup was one of the highlights of the season. Personally, I’m rooting to see history made for the 4th game in a row. 🙂

Brady has a brace on his right foot. I’m hoping it’s not a stress fracture. This could be significant. 🙁
