I was at the local reservoir today (Lake Charleston) just to look for good spots to bird watch. I saw this guy sailing in over the treetops and was pleasantly surprised when I looked through my lens and saw it was a bald eagle. Later a juvenile bald eagle joined in the fun.

That’s pretty cool Mark. Where on the lake did you find these?

I was down at Lakeview Park at the end of McKinley and shooting off to the west-northwest.

Very cool! And you got great photos, too. What lens did you use for these?
I just acquired an 85mm, 1.8 lens and I love it.

Yeah, the 85 1.8 is a great lens. Lots of purple fringing, but ACR takes care of that nicely.
