Red Sox – They beat TB at the Dump…er, Trop tonight, but they blew so many scoring chances it was ridiculous. And the letter that went out recently to season ticket holders shows that Red Sox ownership is still living in a world of foolish dreams.

Heat Wave – Back to temps over 100F here on Monday and into next week.

Poor Stumpy suffered some trauma around her tail and lower spine when she was a kitten. We don’t know what happened, but she has a stump of a tail and some nerve damage at the end of her spine. She’s the friendliest cat in the world, though.

Maxie – Our rotund diabetic cat has lost some weight and with careful diet control may be able to get by without the insulin shots.
