I would rather have seen the Pats facing Brett Favre and the Packers, but once again Favre proved to be his own worst enemy. I was also really looking forward to a Manning-less Super Bowl, but alas, that is not to be. Still, the Pats have a chance to make history and set a record that may not be broken for decades. Let’s hope they bring their best game to Arizona.

  Comcast – Nothing like a drive-by building survey.

 The New Dan Ryan - All the construction hassles were worth it. Boston, are you watching? Instead of wasting so much money on the Big Dig, you could have done something similar. 

  Entertainment Industry -  Settle with the writers already. Stop being so damn greedy.

 Greektown – My favorite part of Chicago.

  Boston Celtics – Hate to sound like a broken record, but 30-4? Unreal.

  Overreaction – I wish Sharpton would just shut up and go away.

 Technology – I had to draw something today for a class and it made me realize how computer technology has enable me, an otherwise artistic disaster area, to produce something approaching art. 

  Head Colds – Sarah’s is still hanging in there. Stubborn germs.

 NFL Playoffs – Here we go.

  Boston Sports – Since Game 5 of the ALCS, the Red Sox, Patriots, and Celtics are 44-3. LATE EDIT: Make that 45-3.

  Politics – Anyone not sick of it already?

 Heated Seats – Nice this time of year. Same goes for the heated steering wheel.

  Head Colds – Sarah’s got a doozy, probably from the airplane.

 Weather – Warm-up coming this weekend.

New Year’s Eve in Nürnberg is unreal. Everyone has serious fireworks and at midnight the whole city erupts.

  Home at last – Good to be home where I can relax and not deal with airplanes.

  Air travel – The industry has sunken to a new low. The whole system is badly broken and needs government regulation now.

 Celtics – 24-3 and still going strong. This is turning into a banner year for Boston sports fans.

  Weather – Is it my imagination, or is this the worst start to winter we’ve had in years?

 New Camera – I am seriously impressed. So easy to get great pics.

After a grueling trip down here which only proved how screwed up the airlines are, we finally had a chance to enjoy the weather and see some sites. Pics of Ponce De Leon Springs state park and St. Augustine can be seen here. I’ll post more in detail when we get back.

This is one happy little guy. His hole is right next to the wall where I feed the birds. He scurries back and forth filling his cheeks with seeds and carrying them back to his den. He must have quite the stash in there by now.
